I’ve been writing Deafweekly for a couple of years now, seeking out the news, writing it up in concise format and sending it out to subscribers. After it went out, there wasn’t a lot of opportunity for feedback. People could send emails and I’d print them as letters to the editor, but there was nothing like the immediacy of a blog.
This new blog will allow you to read each item in Deafweekly every week and post your comments about the news and read other people’s input. You can ask questions and share your opinions and we can all learn from one another. I just ask that the discussion be civil and above-board since Deafweekly readers are people of all ages and sensibilities.
Check back mid-week when the first news items from Deafweekly are posted here for your discussion.
